JC's Sweet 16 :: Fashion Spot (via MIMZ)

Otay. well you may have heard of Justin Combs' MTV sweet 16 last Saturday. Well I was one of the hundreds of guests and omg what a party. Celeb appearances by Diddy(of course) the cast on Jersey shore Nicki Minaj Teyanna Taylor Diggy and JoJo Trey Songz Fabolous Heavy D DJ Clue (runs new york!! ) jim jones juelz santana and more. Kid on a damn Maybach w. a driver for his birthday and he gave 10grand to Wyclef's YELE (uhm really ?? that's it Diddy ??) Soo thats the summary but not what this post is about. At the party i could point to about 50% of the girls there and say where they got their outfit from and it was mostly between two stores. I think this takes the Edge off fashion.
First Problem Store - AMERICAN APPAREL
<-- Here I have two randoms at the party. The one on the right is DECKED in AA from from her scarf to her nasty shiny pants. Personally I think that no part of that outfit should have never left the racks. xept maybe the scarf. On the right is a dress w/ AA's typical "Afrika" print. Now me and my girlfriend who I went were unfortunately also part of this. My friend went int a black AA Sweetheart dress and I went in a solid cranberry scoop neck and I dressed up w/ a black ribbon. My friend saw someone in the same dress was her. That must have sucked.
Second Problem Store - FOREVER 21

I used to live in this store. and over winter break I tried on that Mineral Wash Vest chica numba twoo has on and I saw that fringe shouldered dress the other one has on. There were also many others these are just the girls I found pictures of.





MORAL OF THE STORY-- Fashion is no fun if you look like everybody else. wna stand out ?? shop elsewhere. I recomend Cheap Jacks Vintage Clothing bestie flo does a good job of this. she finds thrift stores in her areas and finds cute things for really cheap. Best part she doesnt have to worry about wearing the same thing as anyone else, making her style truly unique.
